C. diff. Survivors – Look Back and Remember How Far You’ve Come

Sometimes the most powerful way to keep moving forward is to look back and remember how far we’ve come.

I had to do that just about every day during my healing journey.

There were so many times I wanted to give up or quit because I didn’t think I could make it anymore… but then I would remember how far I had come and that would be enough to get through another day.

Today is all about how far you’ve come.

Think about one input you changed that completely improved your symptoms.

This could be your diet or a supplement you took… or how the C. diff. infection was killed.

Then, leave a comment below and share that input with this community. It might just be the one input someone else needs to read today in order to get to the next level of health.

We look forward to seeing you in the comments.

  1. When I was the sickest I felt better drinking a cold 12 ounce Coca Cola in a glass bottle made with sugar. It was a little thing but it settled my stomach and I was able to get some calories when I wasn’t eating much.

  2. I’m a new survivor, or at least I think I have made it. I now have brown “poop!” Isn’t that wonderful, sure beats that grassy green from my
C Diff. I added acidophilus plus probiotics early on. The best secret for my healing was changing doctors!!!!!

I just want to know when this fatigue will end???

  3. I’ve got a pedometer and the fatigue kicks in at 2000 steps a day. When I first got it I could only walk about 300 steps. I’m impatient. Last week we went shopping for Organic foods an hour from home and i walked over 5000 steps. It took 3 days to recover. Yesterday out shopping for more Organic food I walked 3200 steps. I almost passed out twice. It’s been 59 days since my second negative test. I too, have regular stools. But the strength is slow coming. My husband tells me that after being sick for over a year with C-diff, it can take that long to recover. I sure hope not. Next week my husband will go shopping without me. I think over doing it may be taking steps back. Best of luck to you and whatever you do, don’t give up. I know I will get stronger if I take the time.
